Lady Nkoyo Ekpo

Founder/CEO

Lady Nkoyo Ekpo is a USA trained educationist and Data Analyst with over 35 years of experience in education management. She holds BSc and PGDE in Biology from University of Calabar, Cross River State; and Master’s Degree in Educational Administration/Management, University of Port Harcourt. She also holds MSc in Early Intervention from the prestigious New York University, USA. She is a retired Education/Data Analysis with Board of Education, New York City, USA. She is a devoted Christian who has dedicated herself in the service of others especially in helping the less-privileged in different communities through scholarship and improved livelihood. A proud mother and grandmother with an exceptional leadership style. Lady Nkoyo has served in different capacity as National President and Chairman Board of Trustees, Oron Development Union-USA; Board Secretary, Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria, USA (AKISAN); Executive Member, Oron Union Women’s Wing; Vice Chairman Women’s Wing, AKISAN-USA.

Barr. Aniefiok Bassey

Secretary

Omen Bassey is an indigene of Urueoffong/Oruko Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He is a Law graduate from University of Uyo. He is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) and Advanced Diploma in Public Relations. He has undertaken trainings on Branding in the School of Media, Pan -Atlantic University, Lagos. He started his career as a Clerical Officer in the defunct Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs, later became a Legal Officer with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). He was Special Assistant on Students/Public Relations to the Chairman, Urueoffong/Oruko Local Government Council, Personal Secretary to the Chairman, Urueoffong/Oruko Local Government Council, Member, Akwa Ibom State Scholarship Board and Member Judicial Panel of Inquiry on EndSARS Protest. Aniefiok Bassey is passionate about community service and has been consistent with it for decades. At different times, he has served as Secretary, Oro Think Tank (OTT), Publicity Secretary, Oron Union. He is member, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators (APNM) and Chartered Institute of Loans and Risk Management (CILRM). Barr. Bassey is currently the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

Barr. Mrs Ekaette Anwana

Lady Ekaette Anwana Esq is the Executive Director of Advocates of Peace, Nature and Gender Justice (APNAG), a Not-for-Profit organisation founded in 2016. She has thirty (30) years post-call experience in Civil Prosecution, Civil Litigation, Legal Drafting, Alternative Dispute Resolution, etc. She obtained he LLB at the University of Calabar and holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law & Policy from the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom.

She is a certified Mediator and Trainer. She started her working career in the 80s at the University of Calabar and since excelled through different ranks in Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Justice, and later retired as the Director in charge of the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) in 2015. Lady Anwana is currently the Head of practice at Peaceville Attorneys & Solicitors. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and the Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators (APNM).

Mr. Jeremiah Ekpo

Member

Jeremiah is a graduate of Mass Communication with specialty in Broadcasting.  He has worked as a News Editor/Reporter with Comfort FM and also had a brief stint as a reporter with the Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC). He is actively involved in the Media coverage and documentation for EEBUEF projects.

Mr. Eddie Akaduh

Eddie Akaduh is a Public Relations and Marketing Communications consultant with multifaceted interest in education, sports and entertainment.  He is the founder/President of EACAD, a Not-for-Profit organisation whose focus is to improve quality of learning in schools. In early 2001, he launched Nigerian Brand Child Project to scale up reading culture amongst students in Lagos State- Nigeria. Eddie’s online analysis of Destiny Child’s album on the Entertainment Weekly with Rick Des Top 40 programme on Kiss FM California, earned him a recognition from Columbia Record in 2002. He also composed and recorded Ola Brasilia, a theme song for FIFA 2016 World Cup in Brazil. Through his NGO, EACAD, he has executed top-notch partnership projects with international organisations such as Tony Blair Foundation, Malala Foundation, Youth-Hubs AFRICA, Mastercard DIAFUND and EXXONMOBIL. Eddie Akaduh is very relentless in leading the global funding of education. He is a researcher and author of the book, The Greatest King of Dubai. He is a member of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).
